The Manifold Clock is a wall clock by Studio Ve that is simple, elegant and beautiful. It's a timepiece that displays an ever changing form. The clock's hands are connected with a manifold to create 3D movement.

Time can be read traditionally using the two hands of the clock, or with a new reading method observing form that changes every minute.

The clock emphasizes the fact that we treat time as continuous, yet it’s cyclical.
The concept is based on the study of Riemann surface, which is a type of Riemann Manifold. One of the more common manifolds resembles climbing a spiral staircase: seen from the side one climbs up, yet from above one walks in circles.

How can you set time on the Manifold Clock?

The clock uses the familiar movement. You can turn the dial on the back to set the clock.

What powers the Manifold Clock?

A single AA battery is used as the power source of the movement. It is recommended to use brand name batteries and change them about once a year.

How do I hang the Manifold Clock on my wall?

The clock has a small hanger on the back. Align the hanger with a nail or screw you have on the wall.
